Spring in the garden
“Spring in the Garden,” the highly anticipated event for garden lovers and garden designers, returns on March 23 and 24, 2024 in Donigala Fenughedu. Organized by theLandplants Sardinia Association, with expert guidance from nurseryman Italo Vacca and landscape architect Leo Minniti, the event is being held at Ros’e mari, a lovely spot near Oristano.
The event offers a wide selection of rare and exotic plants from nationally and internationally renowned nurserymen. This year’s theme, “The Garden Turned Upside Down,” will be the focus of an international symposium on Saturday morning, with keynote speakers such as British landscape architects James and Helen Basson.
Attractions include the Green Salon with journalist Mimma Pallavicini, the Kaktos section devoted to cacti, children’s workshops on nature, and a series of art and photography exhibitions. Finally, original installations by Danish twins Helene and Simone Bendix add a dreamlike touch to the event.
“Springtime in the Garden” represents a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Mediterranean garden culture and discover the latest innovations in the field, promoting the passion for greenery in Sardinia and beyond.
